**Essential Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Assist in maintaining pay plan and benefits programs.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Act as the first point of contact for the CEO with internal and external clients.
- Handle incoming requests and queries appropriately.
- Assist in managing the CEO’s diary, schedule meetings and appointments, and provide reminders.
- Book and manage complex travel arrangements.
- Develop and maintain an efficient documentation and filing system.
- Produce reports, presentations, and briefs as needed.

**Qualifications**
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Experience handling Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) cases is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field is preferred.
- Work experience as an HR manager and/or personal assistant to a senior executive is preferred.
- People oriented and results driven.
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics is preferred.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases is preferred.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Strong character and good communication skills to deal fairly, respectfully, and decisively with all members of the company.
- Exceptional planning and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Discretion and confidentiality
- A qualification as a PA is advantageous.

**Proficiency in any of the following languages is encouraged, but not required**:
Spanish

Arabic

French

Vietnamese

Hindi

Gujarati

Urdu

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

- Personal assistant: 3 years (preferred)
