We are an established liquor store located in Atlantic Highlands, looking to hire a full time night assistant manager. This job is for for trustworthy, punctual, and personable individuals with a strong interest in customer service. This is a social atmosphere with frequent customer interaction.

Applicants should be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Daily duties will consist of the following:

- Opening or Closing Store
- Cash Handling
- Helping customers find products and providing recommendations
- Operating entire front end of the store including POS system and lottery
- Inputting inventory into POS and regular auditing
- Maintain overall store upkeep and appearance
- Ensure shelves are adequately stocked and products correctly displayed
- Assist in ordering beer/wine/liquor
- Bartending and assisting bartenders when required

We are specifically looking for people who will be passionate about their job.

Please have one of the following:

- At least 2 years experience as a salesperson at a liquor store
- At least 2 years experience as a bartender

Additional Requirements:

- Willing to work 40 hours/week - mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Trustworthy, punctual, personable, and posses strong communication skills
- Comfortable standing for extended periods of time
- Strong knowledge of wines from all regions and spirits/liquor
- Able to multitask between helping customers, researching wines and spirits, processing sales etc...
- Strong computer skills: Comfortable with MS Excel, NJ Lottery
- Must be a team player
