**BASIC FUNCTION**:
The Grants Program Coordinator performs a variety of duties to increase operational efficiency in the Office of Compliance & Enforcement (OCE). The Grants Program Coordinator works in conjunction with the Grants Program Associate and reports to, and is under the supervision of, the OCE Director and/or their designee (together, OCE Management). This position is included in a collective bargaining unit represented by the International Federation of Professional & Technical Engineers, Local 135.**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- In collaboration with OCE’s Grants Program Associate, oversees OCE processes LSC’s grants management system (GMS) and makes recommendations related to needed changes or updates. May include playing an integral role in LSC’s reviewing and processing grantee requests to subgrant LSC funds.
- Collaborates with the OCE Grants Program Associate to develop, implement, and maintain tracking systems to ensure Smartsheets and Box are updated with relevant information from the GMS and other sources.
- Under the guidance of the Grants Program Associate, review annual and semi-annual report submissions in the GMS to ensure appropriate reports are submitted in a timely manner. At OCE Management direction conducts initial substantive review of annual and semi-annual report submissions from grantees. Drafts appropriate information request letters and supports OCE program counsel assigned to review the responsive documents.
- Updates OCE’s various project management and document retention systems, and under the guidance of the Grants Program Associate conducts quality control checks on various aspects of the GMS, Smartsheet, and Box.
- In the absence of the Grants Program Associate, may serve as a web content coordinator for OCE; to update OCE pages on LSC.gov and eWeb.
- Works with OCE Team Leaders and Management to finalize and release documents to stakeholders (e.g., letters, reports); posts final reports on Internet.
- Creates, initially populates, organizes, and monitors Box folders related to OCE oversight reviews. Assists grantee and OCE staff in uploading and organizing documents.
- Under the direction of OCE Management, coordinates OCE’s engagement of Temporary Employees (TE), including maintaining OCE’s TE contact list, TE engagement requests, payment forms, and contract amounts. Assists Team Leaders to complete TE request forms.
- Supports OCE Management and staff in overseeing LSC’s interest in grantees’ real property; includes the purchase and sale of real property; reconciling information entered into the GMS with hard and electronic information previously provided, etc.
- Supports OCE Management and staff in overseeing grantee requests for prior approval to use LSC funds.
- As directed, serves as the OCE liaison to the Office of Inspector General for receiving and tracking annual audited financial statements and related corrective action plans.
- Provides technical assistance to OCE staff preparing for oversight activities, including conducting research, gathering resources and materials, analyzing data oversight information for trends, and helping grantees upload needed materials to LSC’s document repository.
- Performs and coordinates Internet and LSC in-house research for data requested by OCE Management, and other LSC or OIG staff, and provides clear written summaries and analysis of findings.
- As requested by OCE Management, performs general administrative support for the OCE, including, but not limited to, scheduling meetings, scheduling trainings, coordinating documents following meetings, running and reviewing GMS reports etc.
