Main Purpose of Job

**Responsible include**: Shipping and receiving of raw material, finished goods, and packaging materials into and from the Millville Vial plant; Logistics coordinating of materials to and from all US vial converting sites (raw material and packaging materials); managing of physical inventory and warehouse space; Manufacturing schedule (MV) and coordinating production needs to meet the schedule deadlines/customer requirements; Cycle Count and reconciliation for MV site materials; review of operating efficiencies for improvement, overseeing equipment maintenance (forklift trucks, floor sweeper), cullet disposal and recycle

Main Activities and End-Results Expected

1. Responsible for warehouse safety programs in order to provide a safe, clean and organized workplace for employees and within the regulations of the EHS program and local and state regulations.
2. Supervise employees assigned to the warehouse (to include interview, hiring recommendations, discipline and training). Assess performance through performance evaluations and ensure proper training where needed.
3. Supervise the shipping and receiving functions for the site and oversee the storage of finished goods and packaging ensuring all products, parts and supplies are shipped, distributed or received in an efficient manner. Monitor completed documentation, routing and filing of paperwork.
4. Prepare all shipping documents for shipments of raw material, packaging material and repair parts to other plants. Instruct warehouse attendants on daily shipments and supervise the completion of tasks.
5. Supervise and manage all shipping documents for finished ware shipments
6. Receive incoming glass shipments from tubing suppliers and verify against P.O.’s
7. Arrange for pickup and delivery of tubing for all plants with 3rd party trucking companies
8. Arrange order and pickup for Millville tubing, record tube usage (issuing tube, job changes, P1, etc.). Manage for efficiency of cost and inventory movement.
9. Verify all incoming raw material, packaging, and enters appropriate information into SAP.
10. Maintain correct inventory levels of tubing and packaging material, through monthly cycle counts and yearly inventories.
a. Reporting, resolving discrepancies
b. Annual Physical Inventory preparation
11. Support and lead assigned continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives.
12. Validate daily production for inconsistencies and take appropriate action to correct. Review goals, history and initiate DCR's when needed. Communicate with CSR's and plant on order and schedule status.
13. Work with the Plant Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Technical Manager, Engineering, ISO Coordinator, and other HQ positions to meet requirements in production and shipping.
a. Review and up-date related ISO documentation
b. Ensure warehouse employees are trained on related ISO procedures, work instructions, forms etc
14. Progression /skill maps, J/C setup sheets, J/C levels - operator tracking
15. Responsible for internal raw material cullet recycle
16. Finish Ware Attendants report to incumbent - dotted line to Shift Supervisors
17. Review of production efficiency by order, product (T#) or machine for opportunities of improvement
18. Be the Led coordinator for special projects for the Manufacturing Team
19. Demonstrates high degree of teamwork promotes teamwork in all areas.
20. Follow the 4 C's outlined in the QMS policy
- communication, commitment, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
21. Exemplifies all safety, health; and environment rules, company rules, regulations and ISO procedures and work instructions.
22. Back up Supervisor

(Other duties may be assigned as necessary)

**Education**:
High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree a plus

**Experience**:
Accounting - Inventory / Supervision / Project Management
