Provide campus security for all buildings and grounds on campus.

Essential Functions:

- Lock and unlock facility doors based per security rounds schedule.
- Provide escort services for staff at shift changes and for unscheduled after-hours work.
- Respond to all emergency calls and assists in directing emergency services to appropriate locations.
- Make security rounds inside buildings on foot and outside of buildings in vehicle in accordance with established procedures.
- Writes security reports for all calls and notes any observations.
- Respond to after-hours maintenance calls.
- Provide parking control for large events and facility lock-up for Community Center.
- Deliver purchasing supplies to various campus areas as needed. Deliver inter-campus mail to appropriate buildings.
- Drive security vehicle between facilities.

Position Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License. No moving violations within the last three (3) years.

Physical Requirements:

- Frequent fingering, walking, sitting, talking, hearing and repetitive motions required.
- Occasional reaching, kneeling, standing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling required.
- Requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.
- Requires the ability to see things clearly at 20 inches or less, as is common in visual inspection or computer work.
