The Landscape Crew Lead is responsible for overseeing and directing the daily operations of a landscape crew. This includes assigning tasks, providing guidance, ensuring safety, and quality standards are met. The Crew Lead must be knowledgeable in all aspects of landscape maintenance and have good leadership skills. The Crew Lead will be responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of equipment and tools, the completion of all necessary paperwork, and ensuring the crew follows all safety protocols. The Crew Lead will also be responsible for the quality of work and supervision of crew members.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum 3 - 5 years experience supervising and leading a landscape crew
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance and construction practices
- Knowledge of safe work practices
- Ability to operate commercial landscape equipment
- Ability to pull up to 20’ trailers
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and routes
- Access to active phone or tablet
- Ability to remain professional and customer service oriented even with difficult customers

**Landscape Crew Leader Duties**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscape crew members
- Schedule and assign work to crew members
- Train crew members in proper landscape techniques
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality
- Maintain landscape equipment and supplies
- Ensure that safety procedures are followed
- Use field app on smart phone to document information and upload photos

**Type of work**:

- Routine Lawn Maintenance
- Bush / Tree Shaping and Trimming
- Flower, Bush, Tree Planting / Maintenance
- Mulch and Bed Installation
- Fall and Spring Clean Ups

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
