We are looking for a determined, high-energy, well-organized Accounts Payable Manager to join our team in Livermore, California.

**Primary Responsibilities & Skills**:

- Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) process and team as they optimize processes to build and maintain lasting relationships with employees and external vendors
- Obtain new vendor and W-9 forms when applicable
- Responsible for annual 1099 filings and accuracy and completeness of information maintained for Vendor master file including 1099 reporting requirements
- Proactively maintain customer accounts. Ensure all payments and refunds/credits are processed and adjusted to reflect accurate customer balances
- Coordinate month-end closing processes for Accounts Payable
- Assist in occasional special projects as requested
- Maintain orderly and complete, detailed documentation on all accounts and collection efforts
- Ensure team compliance with company policies, procedures, processes, and internal controls. Inform team of changes in policies, procedures, and/or rules
- Mentors and manages a team of 3 AP specialists, which includes measuring and reporting on the team’s performance
- All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years’ of accounts payable; minimum 2 years, in a leadership role
- Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance major preferred
- Extensive experience working in ERP systems, prior experience with NetSuite program preferred
- Ability to organize and plan work effectively to meet goals and objectives
- Strong organization and written/verbal communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to make sound judgement decisions and know when to seek guidance/assistance
- Strong calculator and computer skills; proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Effective interpersonal skills and leadership abilities. High degree of integrity
- Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently under deadline pressure

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
