**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**:
Dealership Automotive Detailer will be primarily responsible for providing a positive customer experience by ensuring that all vehicles are cleaned, maintained, and presented in accordance with our high standards. Typical responsibilities range from washing vehicles to cleaning inside and upholstery. In addition, the employee is responsible for ensuring that the vehicles are displayed in accordance with our high standards.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Washes and cleans the exterior of vehicles, including washing, waxing, wiping and buffing surfaces.
- Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris; treats fabrics with spot
- and stain-resistant chemicals, manage inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
- Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
- Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery and poor mechanical operation.
- Restores appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery and painted surfaces. Uses touch-up paint, dyes and other appropriate materials.
- Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection.
- Fills vehicle with fuel.
- Applies dressing on tires and tire wells.
- Replaces missing or defective small parts.
- Always maintains showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition.
- Ensures proper stickers are displayed in the vehicle's window.
- Removes all window stickers on sold vehicles.
- Keeps work area neat and clean, moves and parks vehicles in correct locations.
- Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
- Practices and promotes our company culture of cooperation and collaboration among all team members.
- Maintains a clean and organized facility and equipment to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our customers and employees.
- Actively participates in company required training.
- Assists other teammates with other tasks as needed.

**Requirements**:
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**:

**EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE**:

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Prior detailing work experience is a plus.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:

- Must be able to perform job functions that require lifting and/or carrying single items weighing at least 75 lbs.
- This position may require other activities such as pulling, pushing, twisting, bending, climbing and reaching.
- Ability to stand or work in a crouched position for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to climb (ladders or stairs) and work in an environment with loud noises and exposure to changes in weather.
