**Quality Assurance Manager **Summary**:
Responsible for the quality assurance process, estimating, field verifications and purchasing administrative duties. Works closely with all departments to ensure that homes are on budget, meet quality standards, and ready to close on time. Builds and fosters relationships with trade partners and vendors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the payment review process by researching invoices and making sure they are all entered and completed.
- Train construction managers in Buildpro, Box, purchasing policies and procedures, and maintain OSHA training log.
- Maintain applicable dates in JDE and Buildpro.
- Administer the full cycle lien process.
- Set up all new communities; including creating ABR, permit requirements and plan reviews.
- Manage the full cycle starts process.
- Set up all new homesites and send completed starts packages to the field.
- Update stage moves and send weekly project status reports
- Maintain PLAT maps.
- Negotiate pricing and hire trade partners, get Schedule B’s completed, and train the new hires on all applicable programs.
- Visit jobsites to monitor cleanliness and safety standards.
- Verify drops to ensure that the product that arrives matches what was ordered.
- Facilitate and resolve any issues between municipalities and trades.
- Manage take-offs.
- Complete a final walk through of all homes to ensure that it meets the company’s Zero Defect standards.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise with trade partners.
- Inspect all plans and coordinate any changes that need to be made on the plans with the purchasing and product development team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree required.
- Computer literate with the ability to work with JD Edwards, Auto CAD, Buzzsaw, Build Pro/Supply Pro, and Excel.
- Professionally perform multiple, detail oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines.
- Good writing and extremely good organization skills.
- Possess strong work ethic, integrity, and loyalty.
- Team Player with ability to work well under pressure.

**Physical Requirements**:
This position splits time between the office and field which requires driving. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle. Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office supplies and materials weighing 50 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard and telephone equipment. Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork and to receive/return phone messages.
