Do you love to work with children? Have a positive and professional attitude? Fountainhead has been dedicated to the education of children in an environment designed to stimulate and develop the child's love of learning since 1972.
We are currently looking to fill a preschool position at our Livermore location. Hours are 8:30-5:30. Your duties include but are not limited too:
*Assist in observing, guiding, supervising, and assessing children while they learn in the classroom environment.
*Developing lesson plans, independent learning exercises, curricula, and methods that cater to the needs of the individual child.
*Creating and maintaining a safe, clean, stimulating classroom where all children feel safe and valued.
*Establishing rapport and building relationships with students based on trust.
*Setting an excellent example for students and instilling good values in them like honesty, accountability, understanding, tolerance, respect, love, and kindness.
*Monitoring and assessing student progress and writing up reports.
**Position Information**:
Minimum 1 year experience working as a head teacher
12 ECE Units required
Montessori credential or experience preferred
Experience as a head teacher preferred
A positive, professional attitude
Spanish Immersion preschool experience preferred
Ability to work full time from 8:30am-5:30pm
