Radio One is looking for a Part-Time Board Operator to join our team The Board Operator performs activities in the radio station's control room to ensure technical quality of sound for programs originating in the studio, network shows, or from remote pickup points.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Operate radio station control board and all studio equipment as directed
- Follow programming and commercial logs and ensure all elements air properly
- Perform all Emergency Alert System (EAS) tests as required
- Perform other tasks necessary for the successful broadcast of radio programs
- Adhere to all applicable laws and FCC regulations

**KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES**:

- Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
- Self-starter, with the ability to take and follow direction
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with the station’s clients and listeners
- Ability to perform tasks with mínimal supervision
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, and lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Submit to a criminal background check
- Legal right to work in the United States

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Six months of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
