Altoona, United States Paul's Building Maintenance Full time

We are looking for a TEMP Janitor, or custodian, to fill in at a small office building on a military base and carry out cleaning maintenance duties. Government background checks are required. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. Temporary position could lead to a part-time/full-time position in the future.

**Responsibilities**
- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, refill liners, soap, and paper products)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out bi-yearly heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Follow all health and safety regulations

**Skills**
- Proven working experience as a janitor
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with OSHA Guidelines
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- High school degree

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 35 per week

- Monday to Friday
- On call
