**Role: Buyer II**

**Location: Waltham, MA (onsite)**

**Type: 12+ months Contract**

**SAP and Pharma/Biotech Industry required.**

**The Role**:

- Manage and execute the full lifecycle of purchasing from requisitioning through order generation, follow-up, and invoicing.
- Additionally, will actively manage and maintain strong supplier relationships, drive continuous improvements, and cost savings.
- Support the development and refinement of sourcing, procurement, and purchasing strategies and processes across the company_._

**Here’s What You’ll Do**:

- Responsible for all aspects of PO life cycle; generation, order follow-up & invoice management
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning to generate raw material purchase orders based on inventory policies, production requirements and supply chain constraints.
- Collaborate with Finance and Master Data team to set up and maintain purchasing parameters in SAP to ensure consistent and efficient buying.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 8 years’ experience in raw material purchasing and buying.
- Experience purchasing for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device companies preferred.
- Proficient and experienced with ERP systems (SAP Strongly Preferred).

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
