**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
Escalate certain matters, particularly Criminal Conviction Records, to HUB’s Legal, HR Compliance and the Chief Security Officer for an individualized assessment as required under law.

Efficiently respond to questions and ensure cases are moving forward with accuracy and in an expeditious manner.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of background investigation findings and decisions.

Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies regarding background checks and privacy rights.

Collaborate with hiring managers and human resources personnel to provide guidance and recommendations based on background investigation results.

Stay informed about relevant industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to background adjudication processes and to employment regulations and laws (local and national) that may impact these processes.

Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to background adjudication.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's, or Associate’s, degree in a relevant field such as criminal justice, human resources, or a related field, is strongly preferred but not required.

Two or more years of proven experience administering or leveraging background checks or similar investigative work, preferably in an HR corporate or legal setting.

At least two years of experience in an HR Coordinator or Analyst position.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and interpret complex information from various data points to make informed decisions.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders while communicating difficult information.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.

Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to background checks and privacy rights (e.g., FCRA, EEOC guidelines), strongly preferred.

Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Ethical conduct and integrity, with a commitment to upholding confidentiality and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
