The Instructor will work closely with
- Burton College of Education Accreditation Specialist, on major assessment data collection and analysis requirements for national accreditation and state reporting.

**Required/Preferred Qualifications**:
Required:

- Earned a master’s degree or higher in education at the time of appointment or currently enrolled in a nationally accredited doctoral program and in good academic standing to be completed within 2 years of date of hire.
- Valid Teaching License with certification in an early childhood content area
- Credentialed to teach early childhood coursework (18 graduate hours in education, early childhood, or its equivalent)
- 3-to-5 years of early childhood classroom teaching experience
- Knowledge of and experience with Common Core State Standards or equivalent
- Experience working with high-quality curriculum
- Experience working with high needs students and/or traditionally underserved populations of students and/or students with special needs
- Mentor Teacher Certified or willing to complete Mentor Teacher certification within first year employed. This certification is required to fulfill the site coordinator portion of the job description.

Preferred:

- Evidence of knowledge and implementation of Co-teaching, Providing Quality Verbal and Written Academic Feedback, and effective coaching practices
- Evidence of leadership in professional development
- Experience with data-driven instructional decision making
- University teaching experience
- Knowledge of standard requirements: Interstate Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (InTASC), Louisiana Components of Effective Teaching (LCET), Louisiana Teacher Preparation Competencies, and Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) Standards, High Leverage Practices (HLP)
- Evidence of collaboration with stakeholders, such as students, teachers, districts/parishes.
