Invasive Species Coordinator

**Job Summary**:

- Coordinates efforts to eradicate and provides educational information on various invasive plant species.

**Essential Duties**:

- Maps the presence and concentration of purple loosestrife, garlic mustard and buckthorn in
- Brown County.
- Provides educational information through the media on dangers of these plant species and
- methods of control.
- Assists homeowners and volunteers in identification of purple loosestrife, garlic mustard and
- Buckthorn.
- Coordinates eradication of invasive plant species in Brown County.

**Minimum Qualifications Required**:
**Education and Experience**:

- High School Diploma; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.

**Licenses and Certifications**:

- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Knowledge of invasive plant species.
- Knowledge of general office procedures.
- Knowledge of English, grammar and spelling.
- Knowledge of and ability to utilize a computer and the required software.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the public.
