Our Purchasing Team plays an important role in our business operations and success. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Build, track, measure, and analyze a comprehensive purchase plan including associated strategies around the plan.
- Implement and retain purchasing and recordkeeping systems including all documentation.
- Simplify and improve ERP system processes and procedures.
- Assist with cost roll and price point variance efforts.
- Coordinate with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
- Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, including managing communication, creating and owning supplier contracts, reinforcing supplier accountability, and initiating cost improvements.
- Successfully manage vendor performance (on time delivery, quality, cost, correct products, etc.)
- Manage Market Rate of Demand and Kanban, including recommending and implementing changes and improvements for associated KPI's.
- Manage purchasing for maintenance function.
- Supply and coordinate down packing at vendor facilities.
- Manage a team of buyers (2) to execute purchasing strategies.
- Manage daily purchasing activities by supervising staff and allocating tasks.
- Train new employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system.
- Collaborate with other departments and leadership to identify and develop needs and requirements for equipment, materials, products, and acceptable substitutions.
- Understand and utilize all ITW toolbox concepts.
- Promote, support, and adhere to all safety, environmental and quality related policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience as a purchasing manager or related role.
- Experience creating a successful purchasing plan to support a company’s goals and objectives.
- 3-5 years of people management experience.
- Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
