We are a fast growing pediatric dental office that is looking to add outgoing and friendly front office receptionist to our team. At Teddy Children's Dental we pride ourselves on providing the highest level of quality dental care.

**Job duties**:

- Greeting and welcoming patients to our practice in a friendly manner
- Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed
- Helping patients fill out forms
- Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff
- Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures
- Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders
- Communicating with medical insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments
- Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed
- Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing

**Experience**:

- Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- Dental terminology: 1 year (preferred)
- Computer skills: 1 year (preferred)
- Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred, but not required

Job type: Part time/Full time

Hourly pay: starting at $16.00/hour or higher (commensurate with experience)
