Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Source and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and conditions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply of goods and services
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Review purchase requisitions and create purchase orders in the system
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and stay updated on industry trends
- Stay informed about changes in supply chain management practices and implement best practices

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Proficient in using procurement systems (e.g., AS400, Edwards)
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing and terms
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate supplier performance and make data-driven decisions
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
