**The physical location of this post is in the city of Palmdale.**

We have openings for both Full-Time and Part-Time shifts. You will work collaboratively with other staff members. The job location and schedule are fixed and will not change.

Shifts Available:
Morning Shift: 6AM-2 PM

Swing Shift: 2PM -10PM

Graveyard Shift: 10PM -6AM

We are actively hiring and request that applicants be available for an interview either on the same day or the next day after applying.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Shelter Entrance Monitoring**: Supervise the main entrance, which is the sole entry and exit point for participants, staff, partners, and vendors. Approve the entry and exit of visitors, guests, and others.
- **Bag & Person Screening**: Conduct thorough searches of participants and their belongings each time they enter the shelter to ensure safety and security. Treat all participants with respect and professionalism during the screening process.
- **Premises Patrol**: Regularly patrol the premises to detect and prevent signs of intrusion, ensuring the facility’s security. Report and address any issues as necessary.
- **Shelter Safety**: Monitor the shelter to ensure safe operations during patrols. Report and correct any spills, unsafe conditions, or faulty equipment. Assist clinical and case management staff as needed and conduct dorm and perimeter patrols.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Strong communication, common sense, and de-escalation skills.
- Consistent, punctual attendance.
- Respectful and dignified treatment of guests.
- Positive attitude with good communication skills for effective team collaboration and client interaction.
- Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.
