**Overview**

Dignity Health Medical Group - Northridge is a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation. We are aligned with Dignity Health, one of the largest health systems in California. We are recruiting an experienced, enthusiastic Family Medicine Physician who would enjoy a combination of traditional, outpatient practice and Family Medicine Residency (lectures, precepting, education). The incoming physician would participate in PEDS call (1:6/1:8), inpatient rounding.
- Join established, well-respected multispecialty group (established in 1976)
- Practice alongside tenured, well respected faculty
- 0.3 FTE - Traditional OP practice
- 0.7 FTE - Residency Faculty
- 1:6 or 1:8 PEDS Call
- One hospital, one clinic (same campus)
- Must be board certified in Family Medicine

Patients are cared for at Northridge Hospital Medical Center; a 424-bed, acute care facility, serving the Northridge community since 1955.

**Responsibilities**
**Patient Care**:

- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.

**Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Provide clear and concise medical information.
- Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

**Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

**Diagnostic Procedures**:

- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
- Perform procedures as needed
- Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

**Quality Improvement**:

- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
- Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

**Compliance**:

- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
- Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

**Continuous Learning**:

- Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
- Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

**Qualifications**
- A valid and unrestricted California medical license
- Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

**Pay Range**
$120.00 - $132.00 /hour
