**Jr. Accountant**

Looking for a Junior Accountant to support the accounting department which includes general accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable. This position will be responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks and assisting the accounting department with daily work as needed and ad hoc projects. Looking for a positive team player with good organizational skills.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist AP with weekly check runs.
- Support AR Specialist with processing deposits, documentation requests and commercial billing.
- Collect and file vendor W-9’s and insurance certificates.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, faxes and courier deliveries.
- Prepare and send outgoing mail, courier parcels and faxes.
- Purchase, receive and store necessary office supplies, ensuring that basic supplies are available.
- Maintain files of invoices and accounting documents.
- Ad hoc projects as needed.

**Preferred skills and qualifications**
- Professional office experience
- Ability to use office equipment such as postage machine, scan & fax
- Superb time management and detail orientation
- Proficiency with Excel

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
