Responsible for providing direct care to patients under the direction of the physician and/or licensed nurse.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Graduate of school for medical assistants and certificate. Or
- Coursework/Training Diploma/certificate from the military in Medical Specialist Course.
- upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License. or
- upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License.
- 2 years Direct hands-on experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

**About the Team**

Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care. Collectively, our medical groups and affiliate practices are the third largest group in the country with over 11,000 providers, 900 clinics and 30,000 caregivers.
