We’re seeking a Director, Service Management to join our Technology Services Group COO team. This role is preferred to be in Boston via hybrid in office work arrangement.

**In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following**:
Support the integration of vendor hardware, software and services spends into existing TSG & Engineering processes, with the objective of managing that spend in the optimal manner.
Close engagement with boutique and engineering teams to identify and vet vendor requirements, close liaison with the ESO organization to prioritize and guide work and, as necessary, direct involvement in negotiations with the vendors.
Develop a thorough understanding of all proposed engagements and representation of the proposal as required to TSG & Engineering management.

**To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following**:
Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred, 12+ years of related experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
Strong experience in managing technical vendor spends and relationships including direct involvement in prioritizing and negotiating commercial contract terms
Adept at understanding and vetting technical requirements sufficiently to translate to business plans
Strong financial acumen to allow quick evaluation of financial impacts of proposals
Independent and self-driven but comfortable working in team environment
