**Duties**:

- Provide attentive care and supervision to children in a daycare setting
- Create lesson plans and implement age-appropriate activities to engage children
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the daycare facility
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns

**Requirements**:

- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Sixty semester credit hours with six semester hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, from birth to age six **OR**
- One year of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed day care center and 30 semester credit hours with six semester hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, from birth to age **OR**
- CDA Certificate

**Additional Requirements**:

- Obtain physical examination and required immunizations
- Must pass background check
- Physical and mental health that do not interfere with child care responsibilities
- Sensitivity to children’s socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic and religious background and individual needs and capabilities and able to relate well to both children and adults.
- Flexibility, understanding and patience
- Listening skills, availability and responsiveness to children

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
