Luna Integrative Care for Substance Use and Mental Health is seeking compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistants to join our team at our residential 24/7 treatment facility. We are hiring for full-time, part-time, and PRN positions. Our treatment program offers a 35-day minimum to 90-day stay, after which clients transition to lower levels of care to continue their recovery journey. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing a unique blend of hospitality and care, supporting our residents as they navigate their path towards recovery and mental well-being in a safe and structured environment.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Provide direct care and support to residents in our residential treatment setting, combining the warmth of hospitality with the expertise of clinical care

2. Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of residents around the clock throughout their 35 to 90-day stay

3. Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans tailored to each resident's needs

4. Facilitate and encourage resident participation in therapeutic activities and programs designed to promote healing and recovery

5. Observe and document resident behavior, progress, and any concerns, maintaining accurate records

6. Maintain a positive and supportive environment that fosters growth and encourages residents to work towards their goals

7. Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support and intervention as needed, utilizing strong boundaries and effective communication skills

8. Collaborate with our multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive care for each resident and a smooth transition to lower levels of care

9. Enforce program rules and policies to maintain a safe and structured environment conducive to recovery

10. Assist with daily living activities and provide basic life skills training to support residents in their journey towards independence

11. Drive clients to appointments and peer support meetings, and be comfortable driving a larger vehicle

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required

2. Previous experience working in a substance abuse or mental health treatment setting, hospitality, or customer service is a plus

3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain strong boundaries while providing a welcoming and caring presence

4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with professionals from various disciplines

5. Proficiency in documenting and maintaining accurate records using electronic health record systems

6. Knowledge of substance abuse and mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches

7. Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations

9. Valid driver's license and clean driving record

10. Background check and drug screening required
