**_ Position Summary_**

At CIRCOR, providing quality products on time is essential to making our customers happy. Our production team must have the right people focused on producing our family of valves keeping safety, quality, and efficiency in mind. The Assembler IV role is responsible for the accurate and efficient assembly of products or components and coordinating the work of junior assembly staff. Ensures producing finished goods and services that meet our company standards, customers quality and specifications while supporting the achievement of the site’s business goals and operations objectives.

**_ Principal Activities_**
- Supports Manufacturing Supervisor in the achieving of daily production targets.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematic, work orders and written instructions to accurately assemble components.
- Train new assembly staff and provide ongoing training and support to the team. Responsible for maintain onboarding and ongoing training records.
- Maintain documentation related to assembly operations, (i.e. router report) including production reports and any other records relevant to quality assurance purposes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electronic equipment to assemble parts with precision.
- Conduct routine quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
- Act as a point of communication between the assembly team, management, and other departments. Assist the engineering team in current and NRE projects.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment by working with Supervisor in addressing and resolving workplace conflicts.
- Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues, report any quality, processes, equipment or problems to the supervisor.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest ways to improve assembly processes aimed to enhance operational efficiency and product quality (i.e.: improve of yield).
- Actively participates in site safety and quality programs, including our Drive to Zero safety program.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company safety and housekeeping/lean manufacturing standards.
- Monitor and coordinate RFQs for spring and case lead wire.
- Forecast wire stock and update the team accordingly.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures as well as actively support company safety initiatives. Use of the required safety equipment (i.e. safety glasses)

Job Requirements:
**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**

**_ Knowledge Skills & Abilities_**
- Minimum of 5 years of related production or mechanical assembly experience and/or training.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of assembly process.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for working in a team environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents such as blueprints, diagrams and assembly instructions.
- Competent in the use of hand tools, power tools and electronic assembly equipment.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Hand-eye coordination for assembling small and precise components.
- Occasionally lift and or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
- Basic-intermediate computer skills for reporting and administration.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and talk and hear
- While performing the duties of this Job will be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.**_ _**:

- Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality standards.

**_ Education & Experience_**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

**PAY RANGE: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour**
- Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
