Come work for CDFW's Office of Spill Prevention and Response (OSPR), an international leader in oil spill prevention, preparedness, response, and restoration. OSPR is hiring an Staff Services Analyst in the Preparedness Branch. We are seeking applicants with strong communication and analytical skills who can build effective working relationships with a diverse community of colleagues and stakeholders.

Working Conditions
This position is in an office environment and involves sitting most of the time, and the use of a computer and standard office equipment. Occasional travel may be required.
OSPR is a 24-hour oil and pollution spill response organization. The incumbent in this position will be required to participate in prevention and response training, drills and incidents throughout California, and to be available to deploy/travel with short notice for extended periods of time (up to 7 days).
Public contact work may require irregular hours, the wearing of a DFW issued uniform and operating state vehicles with a valid driver’s license.
