**_As a Used Car Buyer, you will be responsible for acquiring desirable inventory from auctions and other wholesale sources. _**:

**Used Car Buyer Responsibilities**:

- Purchase and sell used car inventory through in person and online platforms and auctions
- Purchase cars from customers as part of our Kelley Blue Book Buying Center program
- Purchase used vehicles from customers looking to sell their current vehicles
- Understand mechanics of vehicle and the necessary repair needs to sell vehicles that meet auto group standards
- Suggest and monitor pricing strategies on various websites and be familiar with online marketing of used vehicles through vAuto and various 3rd party sites
- Manage inventory descriptions across all platforms utilized within the business.
- Know and understand the federal, state, and local laws which govern used car purchases and sales
- Help appraise used vehicles

**Used Car Buyer Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 2 years experience as a used car manager or buyer
- Dependable
- Valid driver's license
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Inventory Management Skills
- Flexible regarding ideas and concepts
- Team player seeking to improve within the bigger picture of the automotive group
- Leadership skills along with communication skills

**Used Car Buyer Compensation Range**:

- $125,000 - $175,000 (DoE)
