Based in Asheville, North Carolina, we've already built over 200 homes and have a robust pipeline of projects in the works. Now, we're expanding our reach to other cities across North Carolina, and we need talented individuals like you to help us make a real impact.

**Role Overview**:
As our Construction Site Work Manager, you'll play a crucial role in our mission, overseeing the transformation of raw land into thriving residential communities. From evaluating potential development sites to coordinating site work and managing construction teams, you'll be instrumental in bringing our vision to life.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assess potential development sites for suitability and formulate comprehensive site work plans.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to execute site work, including grading, utility installations, and road access.
- Manage a diverse team of in-house grading professionals and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with construction and finish managers to ensure seamless transitions between site work and construction phases.
- Oversee all aspects of site development, from initial grading to final cleanup, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in residential construction site management or related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, utilities, and site development regulations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in site work management and heavy equipment experience, specifically in the new home construction industry
- Strong knowledge of site work processes, including excavation, grading, utility installations, landscaping, water run off management, and digging simple and complex footers.
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and supervise a site work team
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions to on-site challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
