**BASIC FUNCTION**:
The Lead Shipping and Receiving Clerk (S&R Clerk) is responsible for maintaining customer service functions and oversees clerical associates. The Lead S&R Clerk will ensure that functions are performed in a smooth, efficient, and accurate manner. The Lead S&R Clerk will provide back up for all Shipping and Receiving Clerks and accounts. The Lead S&R Clerk will ensure that all customer service objectives are met.

**RESPSONSIBLITIES**:

- Oversees and performs all duties and responsibilities of the Shipping and Receiving Clerk
- Addresses more complex and non-routine customer issues and requests
- Develops and ensures all account procedures are properly documented and meet account needs
- Reviews all inventories and reconciliation and reports results to the General Manager
- Monitors all supplies for office, janitorial and warehouse.
- Maintains a good working relationship with internal and external customers by responding to all inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, shipments, inventory counts, etc.
- Ensures all orders are shipping off daily
- Ensures all inbound orders are entered daily
- Prepares accounts for end of the month billing
- Cross trains Shipping and Receiving Clerks on all accounts
- Prepares all Hazmat paperwork for air and ocean shipments, if applicable
- Prepares all End of Month Reports
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:
**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and safely lift, turn, position and transfer product accordingly
- Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Must have a satisfactory background check
- Must comply with OSHA and SDS Standards
- Must have the flexibility to work any shift required by customer and business needs
- 1-2 years customer service experience, preferred
- 1-2 years warehouse experience, preferred
- Must possess the appropriate computer experience (i.e. Microsoft Office, SAP, WMS)
- Ability to multitask and work in an organized manner
