Title: Pharmacy Tech - Inpatient Services
Location: Madison, WI 53792
Shift: 40 hrs/week, Evenings. All shifts are 8.5 hours with a 30 minute unpaid break. Weekend rotation.
**Job Description**:
Traveler **must have sterile compounding experience - required.**
We are seeking a **Pharmacy Technician** to:
- Prepare and package medications.
- Deliver medications to different patient care areas.
- Control inventory and cost.
- Work with Pharmacy automation and robotics.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Facility Requirements:
- Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile).
- Experience:
- Traveler must have previous Pharmacy Technician experience in inpatient/level 1 trauma facility or similar size hospital setting.
- Traveler **must have sterile compounding experience - required.**
- Epic experience highly preferred.
- Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
- Licensure and Certification:
- Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician registration is required.
- CPT Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- References
- Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years).
- Floating
- Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.

Pay: $1,450.00 - $1,500.00 per week

- Monday to Friday
