Department Overview
Power Generation operates and maintains PG&E's hydroelectric, fossil, solar generation and battery storage facilities, providing approximately 5,300 megawatts of generating capacity for our customers. Our nearly 900 coworkers are dedicated to delivering safe, reliable and cost-effective generation to California in an environmentally responsible manner. Our hydro facilities include 62 conventional hydro powerhouses, a pumped-storage facility, 98 reservoirs, 163 dams and more than 300 miles of canals and flumes, among other water conveyances.
Position Summary
Manages aspects of program implementation and operations. Ensures program is operating effectively.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and assigned location based on business needs.
**A reasonable salary range is**:
Minimum Base Salary (Bay Area) $ 122,000.00
Maximum Base Salary (Bay Area) $ 194,000.00
OR
Minimum Base Salary (California) $ 116,000.00
Maximum Base Salary (California) $ 184,000.00
Job Responsibilities
Applies broad expertise and advanced knowledge to wide-ranging issues.
Works with Directors and Managers across functions to influence decisions.
Communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
Integrates industry knowledge into everyday business practices and decision making.
Provides others with guidance around complex industry regulatory and compliance environment and considerations.
Ability to influence leaders inside and outside of the department through data analysis, insights, and recommendations.
Ability to lead large and complex projects working with cross-functional teams.
Creates risk management strategy to facilitate business decision priorities.
**Safety**: Absolute commitment to safety for PG&E employee’s, contractors, and the general public. Lead effort to obtain zero incidents. Complete all required training in a timely manner; promote safety awareness within and outside PG&E. Maintain a superior safety ethic for self and others and conduct all work in accordance with all safety procedures.
**Compliance**: maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Work with regulatory and governmental agencies, communities, and other internal PG&E groups to communicate proposed actions and resolve issues before they escalate.
Develops scopes of work to ensure compliance, execution standards and deliverables are executed successfully.
Travel will be required.
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum**:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business.
8 years of related experience or equivalent
**Desired**:
DPR Qualified Applicators License (QAL) and/or DPR Pest Control Advisor (PCA)
ISA Certified Arborist
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and achieve team goals.
Demonstrated ability in budget forecasting, planning and management.
