Hotel General Manager

Currently looking for a dynamic, motivated, and ambitious Hotel General Manager to join our growing team. You must be local or willing to relocate.
The general manager is **in charge of all daily hotel operations to guarantee that guests enjoy an outstanding experience**. They are responsible for all hotel services, such as guest relations, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, revenue management, expense management, team building, and employee development.
You should be a leader and a mentor who's dedicated to the continued growth of the company and and your staff.
**In this position you will be required to-**
- Submit quarterly plans and actions for operations of the property.
- Develop management and staff programs to increase guest satisfaction.
- Conduct weekly management meetings and monthly staff meetings.
- Maintain product and service standards.
- Encourage Essential Principles of Service throughout hotel
- Aid department managers with procedures, service standards, goal setting and daily duties.
- Create, implement, and execute action plans to ensure the continued financial success of the hotel.
- Participate in appropriate industry related community and State organizations.
- Represent the hotel in public speaking forums.
- Inspect guest rooms, public access areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance.
- Other duties as assigned or as needed to create Signature Moments for our guests.
- Review, comply with, and promote the company’s Affirmative Action Plans for minorities, women, veterans and persons with disabilities.
**What are the essential functions?**
- There are times when you may have to deal with an unhappy person; you do need to know how to deal professionally, courteously and tactfully with the public and coworkers.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize well to meet deadlines
- Behaves with integrity, honesty and is open with guests and fellow associates.
- Develops effective working relationship with fellow associates, managers, outside representatives and agencies.
**Experience and qualifications required?**
- **High School Diploma Required**:
- At least two years experience in a hotel management role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations.
- Able to pass a background check/drug screening.
- Most posses great analytical skills
- Knowledge of revenue management, P&L, and budgets.
Pay: $66,560.00 - $75,000.00 per year
