Job Overview:
Jandali Plastic Surgery is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work for three overlapping medical practices
- Planning of estimate taxes
- Filing and remitting business taxes and other financial obligations
- Filing and remitting individual taxes for owners.
- Manage growth across state lines and ensure proper filings with various state departments.
- Pay bills and independent contractors
- Reconciling Quickbooks transactions - banks and credit cards.
- Prepare and filed 1099s
- Manage all recurring expenses
- Maximize deductions
- Coordinate payroll with office manager and payroll company
- Reconcile insurance billing spreadsheets and aged reports
Medical practice accounting experience preferred
Role can transition to become remote
Salary prorated to daily rate. 1 - 2 days a week
Potential for growth and full time
**Qualifications**:
- Proficiency in accounting principles including GAAP and double entry bookkeeping
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting and Securities law
- Ability to interpret financial reports and prepare financial statements
- Knowledge of LIHTC and governmental accounting
- Strong skills in debits & credits and general ledger accounting
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
