Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team for in store and pop up location. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee and other beverages. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your passion for coffee and create memorable experiences for our customers.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and handle cash transactions using the POS system
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and brewing methods
- Provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences
- Prepare food items such as pastries, and snacks
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure quality and freshness
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies

**Skills**:

- Strong math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing and discounts
- Previous experience in food service or the coffee industry is preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
- Proficient in using POS systems (experience with Square POS is a plus)
- Excellent sales skills to upsell products and promote specials
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
