**Part-Time Athletic Director**

**Salary**: $18,000-$30,000

Dates and Hours: 210 days, 11 months - August-June

20-25 hrs. per week
- Athletics

15-20 hrs. per week
- other duties assigned (preferred, not required)

Mission

Qualifications:
Broad knowledge of athletics

Preferred Leadership experience in a supervisory role

Experience in coaching, refereeing, or other athletic area

Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Education

Athletic Duties Include:
Oversees Middle and High School Athletic Program

Schedules athletic contests

Works with Assignor

Hire, Supervise, and Evaluate Coaches

Maintain an inventory of equipment and uniforms

Attend required CMAC league meetings

Attend MHSAA Conference meetings

Uphold JHS Athletic Code

Enforce MHSAA and Saranac Community Schools academic and transfer eligibility rules

Secures contest staffing

Oversees Events Coordinator

Communicate with parents and community

Oversee Athletic Budget and Purchases

Works with Athletics Secretary to coordinate awards and banquets

Performs special assignments as directed by the Building Principal

Reports to High School Principal
