**Responsibilities**:

- Main goal is to identify, assess, and bring top talent to Visual Comfort in the US and abroad
- Partnering with leadership and hiring managers to identify and build out staffing needs and strategies in luxury retail and customer service environments
- Create and maintain strong working relationships with senior management and hiring managers, to create a partnership which yields success, predictable results, and credibility
- Possess a solid understanding of the complete recruiting function, including: research, sourcing, networking, behavior based interviewing and closing
- Effective communication approaches including: keeping others informed, appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts, verbally and in written form, and timeliness
- Maintain flexibility to deal with shifting priorities and the evolving needs of our rapidly expanding business environment
- Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2 + years of recruiting in retail luxury furnishings, products and services preferred
- 3+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience with high-performing company
- Experience with Corporate an IT positions required
- Proven track record of building rapport with hiring managers and cross-functional partners, across regions and teams
- Inform company’s strategic direction through understanding of the talent market (e.g., where to find particular skills, salary expectations of those with similar skills, etc.)
- Help drive recruiting initiatives, including diversity and inclusion
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
