Lifetime Heart & Vascular is seeking a dedicated Medical Scheduler to join our cardiology practice specializing in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiovascular conditions. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient patient scheduling and maintaining a patient-first environment. **Job Summary**: As a Medical Scheduler at Lifetime Heart & Vascular, you will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, managing scheduling systems, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients. Your role will involve working closely with medical staff, administrative personnel, and patients to ensure smooth clinic operations. **Responsibilities**: - Schedule patient appointments accurately using scheduling systems - Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow - Maintain patient records and demographic information with strict adherence to HIPAA regulations - Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients with appointment inquiries - Collaborate with other clinic departments to deliver a seamless patient experience - Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other involved parties - Assist in explaining clinic policies, procedures, and services to patients - Perform additional duties as assigned to support the clinic's operations **Requirements**: - Previous experience as a Medical Scheduler or in a similar role within a or setting is preferred - Proficiency in using scheduling software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is advantageous - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical scheduling practices is essential - Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues - Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records - Ability to work full-time hours with reliability and punctuality - Commitment to upholding clinic policies and procedures with integrity - Background check clearance is required for this position Join our team at Lifetime Heart & Vascular and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional cardiovascular care while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and patient care.
