Sodexo is seeking a** Registered Dietitian** for a Pediatric Clinical Nutrition Manager position at Blythedale Children's Hospital in **Valhalla, NY. **This Independent Specialty Rehab Hospital is well known for providing high quality and complex pediatric medical care to children from birth to 18 years. Our facility comprises a Traumatic Brain Injury unit, an Infant unit, a Long Term Care Unit, an Intensive Feeding program and attached Day Hospital and School. This is a great opportunity for an RD with an interest in management - prior management experience not required
- provide inpatient clinical nutrition care for infant, toddler and adolescent patients;
- support patients with a wide range of pediatric conditions including but not limited to metabolic disorders, intestinal failure, BPD, and cardiovascular disease;
- work closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, SLPs, OTs, PTs and feeding therapists, providing education as needed;
- Serve as an active member of the food service management team; and
- perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays.
- Registered Dietitian credential and pediatric experience;
- strong comprehension of the principles of clinical nutrition practice, especially nutrition support;
- excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills;
- the ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff; and
- a strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of pediatric patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

[Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required]

Credentials Requirement:

- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
