**Recruitment Notes**:
The Miami-Dade County Internal Services Department (ISD) is seeking an executive level administrator who will be an integral member of the senior management team committed to enhancing the Department’s vision and strategic goals. This is a highly responsible executive level position reporting to the Deputy Director in the oversight and direction of complex capital design, construction projects, county-wide renovation and repair services, and real estate development such as acquisitions, ground leases and development management aimed at maximizing the value of our County assets. The position involves broad responsibility for the design and execution of projects, establish and implement goals, strategies, action plans and policies within the ISD, Development Services Division, to include projects that prioritize the needs of our community and future generations that create inclusive and accessible green spaces and facilities. This position may lend itself to Miami-Dade’s Telecommuting Policy, which includes flexible work schedules and remote home working in those areas where such a policy is viable and meets the goals and objectives of the operations.
ABOUT ISD
ISD provides a wide range of internal support services for the ongoing operation of County government which focuses on promoting operational best practices and efficient government operations. ISD provides various customer-based business services that include, but not limited to facility management, design and construction management, fleet management, risk management, surplus property disposition services, capital inventory management, and large-scale printing services. Through these various business lines, ISD is engaged in real estate development and management, Americans with Disabilities Act compliance, elevator regulation, security services, materials management, and parking services.

- Depending on the health plan selected you will receive annual flex dollars (either $999.96 or $1,129.96), which are contributed toward your benefits.
- Miami-Dade County provides retirement benefits for eligible employees through the Florida Retirement System (FRS). Enrollment is automatic for full-time employees. As an FRS member, you must contribute 3% of your salary towards your retirement benefit, on a pre-tax basis (contributions are taken from your gross salary before Federal Withholding taxes are calculated). Miami-Dade County also contributes towards your retirement based on the employee classification.
