Position will play a central role within the football program, supporting player development efforts aimed at empowering and instilling confidence in football athletes in their development outside the competitive arena; thereby enabling them to maximize their collegiate athlete experience. This pivotal position involves creating a nurturing and supportive environment that excites, enables, and empowers players to bolster their career development skills and enhance their personal brand. Through a collaborative effort with the C.A.T.S Life Skills (CLS) and Academic Services (CAS) programs, this position will play an integral role in ensuring there is consistent commitment to the holistic development of our student-athletes.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Work in parallel to the football coaching staff to foster program culture, developing programming that will align with programs mission, vision, and values.
- Work in partnership with football coaches, staff, and athletics personnel to ensure the holistic development of the football student-athlete is at the forefront.
- Collaborate with CLS on programming efforts that will boost interest and foster engagement while forging strategic partnerships, programming and guest speakers for football athletes with relevance to leadership, self-identity, personal branding, community outreach, and career development.
- Lead all community service initiatives on behalf of the football program under the direction of the Head Football Coach.
- Build and implement a curriculum surrounding incoming football student-athlete acclimatization.
- Cultivate an atmosphere that fosters growth and self-assurance through guidance & mentorship that empowers excellence in their athletic, leadership, personal, and professional endeavors.
- Develop and implement programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing athletes' career development skills; exciting them for post graduate career opportunities.
- Develop individual career development roadmaps focused on preparing, engaging, and empowering football student-athletes in careers post graduation and competition.
- Create an attainable and intentional array of skill development initiatives that is tailored to the athlete and their non-athletic goals.
- Foster a culture of growth mindset by identifying strengths and opportunities for improvement; building a parallel path between athletic success and success beyond competition.
- Assist athletes in crafting and refining their personal & professional brands that align with their values, aspirations, and professional goals for post-graduate advancement.
- Enable football athletes to effectively translate existing experience and engagement into resume-compatible content; showcasing their skills and accomplishments for future career opportunities.
- Develop and implement experiential learning opportunities, including practicum based programs, to provide football athletes with hands-on career experience encompassing job shadowing, employer treks, and internships.
- Facilitate data collection strategies that can be leveraged for storytelling purposes highlighting the multidimensional identity of football athletes.
- Develop and administer an annual assessment to gather baseline career development knowledge and skills, enabling the identification of programming needs, areas for growth, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to foster comprehensive data collection, leveraging insights for football-specific storytelling initiatives that will elevate the brand of Arizona Football.
- Craft compelling storytelling narratives showcasing the career development commitment of Arizona Football; emphasizing the program’s dedication to fostering career development alongside athletic ambitions; embracing the holistic development of college football athletes.
