**The Opportunity**
**Responsibilities**
- Interact with prospective people to connect them to Mindful Care
- Support people through the intake process and establishing their Patient Portal and provide people with basic tech support to facilitate their provider experience
- Provide Check-in and Check-out for everyone
- Provide same-day eligibility and verification
- Help collect balance due, copayments, and no-show fees
- Tackle all provider requests for contact with patients
- Act as office manager and provide office maintenance, point of contact for new office staffing, and escort in office visits to the examination room
- Triage all incoming inquiries for other departments
- Other tasks as assigned by management
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office/hospital/clinic environment is required; previous experience in mental health care is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience verifying health insurance
- Office management experience is required
- Prior customer service experience (medical or mental health practices preferred)
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be well organized, attentive to details and can work in a fast-paced work environment
- Must have strong computer proficiency
- Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
**Position Type & Schedule**
- Type: Regular Full-time
- Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm ET
- Location: 100% in office: Tampa, FL

**Salary/Wage**:
$20-$24/hr.
