Maitre D' + Guest Experience Specialist

Mama Hanks is looking for a Maitre D' + Guest Relations Specialist to cultivate experiences for each guest. Responsibilities include greeting guests as they arrive, coordinating their reservations to their assigned table, and informing them about any specials and promotions. You will make sure our front of house clerk staff offer stellar customer service and provide memorable hospitality experiences for our guests.

**Responsibilities**
- Enthusiastically welcomes every guest at the door
- Builds strong relationships with guests, members, and team members in order to gain a full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectively.
- Manage and maximize guests reservations and restaurant seating capacity
- Effectively communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees.
- Answers guest phone calls and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to guest questions
- Makes reservations for guests, offering alternatives when the desired slot is not available
- Manages reservation system and table arrangement to ensure optimal seating and flow of service
- Assists Management in creating floor plan and table arrangement for shift, as requested
- Maintain awareness of pace of dining room and communicate with team to ensure smooth transitions during table turns
- Build trust with guests and keep them updated while they wait for their table
- Be present, active, and engaging on the floor and collaborate with entire team during service

**Skills**
- Min. 1- year experience as a Guest Relations Manager, Maitre D' or similar role
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Leadership skills along with the ability to motivate a team into high performance
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
