Child Care Administrative Assistant

Pearland, United States Ivy Kids Early Learning Center Full time

**This position is for Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:30pm**

**Responsibilities**:

- Administrative Support:

- Schedule appointments, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
- Enrollment and Registration:

- Assist with the enrollment process for new children, including collecting necessary paperwork and information from parents.
- Maintain accurate records of enrolled children, including contact information, medical records, and emergency contacts.
- Coordinate with parents to ensure all required forms and payments are submitted on time.
- Communication:

- Serve as a point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors, providing friendly and professional assistance.
- Communicate important information to parents, such as upcoming events, policy updates, and child progress reports.
- Collaborate with childcare staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities.
- Financial Management:

- Assist in processing tuition payments and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, and financial reports as needed.
- Work closely with the administrative team to ensure proper budget management and adherence to financial policies.
- Child Welfare and Safety:

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with monitoring and documenting incidents, accidents, and emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and accreditation standards.
- Special Projects:

- Participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of childcare services and enhancing the overall experience for children and families.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions for program development and improvement.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in childcare, education, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
