We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Administrator to join our team. You will play a critical role supporting our Tax Manager in preparing, conducting tax research, and providing key touch points across our entire client base. We are small CPA firm, and you will be part of a fast-growing team with aggressive growth plans. This is an onsite role located in our Valencia, CA office reporting directly to our Tax Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Support:

- Provide essential support to the Tax Manager and other CPAs.
- Tax Filings:

- Monitor due dates for tax filings.
- Process e-filing and schedule tax returns for the preparer.
- Document Management:

- Oversee the receipt, review, and processing of tax documents.
- Handle electronic document scanning, archiving, and e-filing.
- Event Coordination:

- Participate in tax season event planning and setups.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and events for the tax department.
- Financial Statements:

- Assist in preparing financial statements related to tax matters.

Qualifications:

- Education:

- Skills:

- Familiarity with tax laws and procedures applicable to investment companies.
- Proficiency in accounting and tax conventions.
- Understanding of client expectations and evolving trends.
- Knowledge of industry best practices.
- Ability to perform quantitative analysis.
- Awareness of the regulatory environment.
- Experience:

- A minimum of three years of experience in tax administration or a related field.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Students pursuing degrees in accounting, taxation, or related programs (such as CA/CMA/CGA/CPA) are preferred.
- Proficiency with Lacerte, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,888.33 per year
