We're looking for an experienced Captain to navigate our vessels and share our passion for the sea, marine conservation, and exceptional customer service.

**What You'll Do**:

- Captain our boats in different shifts, mostly from Thursday through Sunday.
- Lead by example, ensuring safety and creating a welcoming environment for guests and crew.
- Manage pre-trip preparations, guest check-ins, and detailed briefings.
- Make informed decisions regarding weather and trip adjustments.
- Perform minor repairs on boats and equipment.
- Engage guests with your knowledge and passion for marine exploration.

**Who You Are**:

- A seasoned captain with a USCG 50-ton near coastal captain's license or greater.
- Experienced with at least 2-3 years under your belt, ideally with a background in scuba diving.
- A people person who thrives on making others feel safe and valued.
- Highly flexible, ready to work weekends and holidays
- Always show up with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Proficient in maritime safety, vessel maintenance, and navigation.
- Comfortable with physical activities and working in various weather conditions.

**You'll Stand Out If**:

- You are a divemaster.
- You have advanced mechanical and electrical systems knowledge.
- Hold additional certifications like EMT, STCW endorsement, or Marine Radio Operator.

**This Role Is Not For You If**:

- You struggle with working weekends and early mornings
- You have a 'that’s not my job' attitude.
- You prefer to work solo or shy away from guest interactions.
- You’re not based in San Diego, CA.
