Medical Dispatch Manager

The Dispatch Manager is responsible for supervising and directing Dispatch department. The Dispatch Manager will act as a communication point and liaison between the dispatching department and management. This is a Full-Time position based in our Skokie, IL headquarters.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Supervise orders and case management for all services
- Coordinate and manage dispatch departments schedule
- Keep team informed of team and/or job updates or changes
- Responsible for coaching and developing a team of dispatch agents to exceed department goals.
- Manage all aspects of daily dispatch operation
- Performed emergency dispatch duties during high volume call times and staffing shortages
- Provide backup supervisorial support for dispatching team
- Monitor route of the clinicians and vehicles
- Provide clinicians with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
- Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and other information
- Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
- Monitor Dispatch team members PTO and sick requests
- Assist and address dispatch team with any issues or concerns

**Requirements**:

- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent knowledge of Great Chicagoland area
- Previous management and supervision experience
- Great organizational skills, including prioritizing and delegating tasks and responsibilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong Computer Skills
- Previous experience in Transportation Logistics or Dispatch
- High school diploma or higher education
