You Will:
- Supervise laboratory non-technical personnel and daily operations
- Supervise personnel, processes, service levels, and regulatory compliance. Functional areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to specimen collection, specimen processing and specimen referral testing. Performs non-technical duties in areas of responsibility as required.
- Be responsible for achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities
- Screens, interviews and selects qualified individuals for open positions within the department
- Reviews and approves payroll time sheets, purchasing requisitions, check requests, and scheduling requests
- Completes and conducts performance evaluations for all staff under direct supervision
You Should Have:
- H.S. Diploma or GED required; Vocational or Technical education is helpful
- 3-5 years’ experience in specimen collection or processing
- Clinical laboratory experience preferred
