We are searching for an **Ambulatory Care Representative** with strong patient / customer service experience for immediate full-time opportunity in our **Rehabilitation Department**.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- As an **Ambulatory Care Representative**, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients seeking care in our facility. Responsible for greeting patients/family, scheduling patient appointments, scheduling hospital, and ambulatory admissions/procedures.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES WILL INCLUDE**:

- Expediting patient registration check-in and check-out process
- Greeting and screening patients.
- Utilizing EPIC electronic appointment system to schedule and review appointments, insurance and appointment history.
- Collecting payments and dispersing carfare and serves as the clinic liaison.
- Answering phones and addressing patient/caller inquiries

**REQUIREMENT**
- Must have High School Diploma or General Equivalence degree.
- Must be computer literate.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Previous registration experience preferred.
- Excellent phone and customer service skills.
- **Must be able to work evenings and alternate weekends**:

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Pay: $24.04 per hour
